Factory Business Controller – contribute to business performance at Kemptron factory in Lahti

Kemptron Oy is looking for a dynamic, analytical and driven Factory Business Controller to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with factory management, production, supply chain, business development and corporate finance, to provide actionable insights and support-making business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong ERP expertise, advanced data analytics skills, and sound business acumen to enhance business performance. Willingness to learn new things and dynamic and flexible ways of working are also needed in this role. This position requires on-site work at our Lahti office.

Your role:
We are looking for someone who will:

• Partner with factory management to support operational decision-making with financial and analytical insights.
• Contribute to product and service costing, pricing strategies, and ensure transparency and accuracy of standard costs, cost allocations and cost rollups across products and services
• Monitor and analyze cost drivers, variances, and profitability by product, process, and business unit.
• Develop, build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or similar tools to deliver real-time performance insights.
• Act as one of the super/key users and subject matter experts for ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic) as well have relevant admin role.
• Contribute to the factory’s budgeting, monthly forecasting, and monthly performance reviews.
• Have advanced skills in Excel and Access and willingness to learn more about these and similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in economics, Engineering, or a related field
• At least few years of working experience in business control, financial analysis, or industrial operations, experience in electronics manufacturing services is a plus
• Proficiency with ERP systems and hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel for analytics and visualization. Real life experience and exposure to AI are a plus
• Strong willingness to learn new things and be able to utilize those in daily work
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proactive, results-driven, and eager to contribute to business performance
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
